Two updates in one month!? Then again, not that many people are likely paying attention to it or that cared for the previous updates solely based on lack of comments Not that I ever had that many comments these days due to most people thinking I’m dead… or I haven’t bothered getting to know the newer group in the AWC (I’m not bitter, just a bit of snarking for fun). Oh yes, has anyone uploaded WP 2.8? I need to figure out how to backup my database before I consider upgrading… Is there a point? From what I can see, it makes sense in case anything happens I guess…

I first saw the poster on ONTD (the com that broke LJ a few days ago or seems like it). That community is too filled with shits n’ giggles. Anyhow, featuring Draco from Harry Potter, the image looked very epic in its own respect and I originally had no intention of actually posting this up as this was a for fun whip around project to colour my desktop. I used a combination of textures from Lin, and a blend/texture, not too sure what to call it from my own experiments on photoshop. Whether I went overboard on it, or tried too hard, I’ll let you decide.
In between time, what have I been up to? I’m way too hooked on brainless pokemon games for my own good. I’ve actually done other things I swear… Anyhow, no thanks to it, I went on a nostalgic spin with icons of the series of mostly the old episodes. Most of the new ones are fugly or morph, I mean evolve, into something something indescribable. This is seen in exhibit A and exhibit B. How does something so damn cute turn into so WTF-like? I was like Oh what a cute bunny when I first caught it…. As soon as it evolved.. I was like BUNNY T________T WHYYYYY?@! To make myself feel better, I made a small batch of LoveCom icons b/c it almost felt wrong to only make icons of a series like this.

Geek or Gleek?
I lack any good conversation generating feedback for today. No new interesting songs that I haven’t made a mention elsewhere… Thus I shall head straight for the graphics for today. I fell in love with the pilot of the series somehow in spite of the knowing next to nothing about the series prior to watching it. As I was listening to Don’t stop believing relatively non-stop during this production, I was not intentionally planning on a wallpaper at first. This was another experiment in the making where I took the geeks Gleeks of the series. I wanted to keep the background simple but distinct enough from the foreground, although I’m still not sure what I was trying to achieve other than a somewhat LJ style with the use of textures, where I likely failed to properly use again OTL. As much as I wanted to make a minimalistic kind of piece, I’m don’t think I really succeeded in doing so as the foreground still looks relatively big.

I can’t help but notice a few things from watching this.
a) How do they keep such control of their voices after so much twirling and flailing?
b) Flail, twirl, Oh God, your dance has affected the more interesting dances from TVXQ~ or it’s just JE in general that’s done that, or dare I say it, Japan? AHhhh let’s not speak of the pigeon heads, ballet, river dancing in Survivor
c) They sounded decent in this live. Then again, they HAVE been at it for almost 10 YEARS now. TVXQ still needs works but have improved over the years.
It’s not to say either groups are absolutely dreadful. They both have their moments of wins and fails. On a less failing flailing note, and my music psycho babble because it feels oh-so-wrong to update without it, who’s excited for season 5? yes/Yes?. I just hope it’s not the failure of last season… Too much of the same stuff and crap broadway. /end rant/
Anyhow, I assure you one day I’ll get around a) finishing that project that’s nearly been a year since I first started and b) making a wallpaper. Here comes a more recent series and other things because it felt too weird having on 18 icons made initially. I really am NOT fond of photoshopping with a touchpad >_< ; For now, here's the breakdown of the day:
